My Hair, Nails and Skin Holy Grail

Over the past year I've discovered a hidden gem in the he vitamin world that has helped me to improve my hair, skin and nails.
I'm in no ways being paid to write this, I just want to share something I've found that really works for me! 

Sea kelp is a supplement available from health shops like Holland and Barrett. They are tiny tablets that are branded to support weight management because they contain Iodine which is a key ingredient in any kind of fat binding or weight loss tablet.

I was recommended these on the basis of it being a vitamin for hair and nail growth no weight management and after having tried these for over 6 months I can confidently say, they do nothing to help with weight loss.

The 'No Make-Up' Make-Up Look!

Sometimes it's really nice to get up in the morning, do a full skin care routine and carefully apply your make up for the day. However, being at university usually means late nights and early mornings which don't offer the chance for the most perfect look everyday (I live with 5 boys and I don't sleep well!). 

 As we all know the weathers getting colder and the parka's are coming out so put your hood, plug in your earphones and get ready for a long day studying!

Tangle Teezer Review!

Firstly i am sorry if i accidently call this a tangle tweezer, for some reason it rolls off my tongue better.

This is a short review of a product i recently bought and love!
I like to keep my hair in good condition with products and oils but i am awful at brushing it, My hair gets so frizzy after i brush it so i only brush it right before i wash it every 2-3 days.

I decided to buy the Tangle Teezer after reading amazing reviews about how it gets rid of knots so easily. This was all i was after, not a regular brush.

I ordered mine from ASOS here for £10 but you can get it for under £9 here



I cannot rave about this so much. I dont see it as a hair brush to me because it barely leaves my hair frizzy its just tangle free! I use it when i need to, especially when washing my hair when the conditioner is still in.

Go and buy this product, replace your everyday hairbrush with this!!

Miley Cyrus Bikini

Woah everythings been on top of my lately with school, work and university and i havent blogged in ages but because ive been working so hard ive had time to do a bit of shopping and pick out some of my favourite summer pieces! This bikini worn by Miley Cyrus is a style thats one of my favourites for this summer. I dont like mixing and matching my styles of bikini's because of the tan lines.

Percy and Reed Hydrating Mask Review

Everyone loves a freebie right and ive heard about the Percy & Reed brand and when i saw it free in April's issue of Glamour Magazine i couldnt pass up the chance to buy the magazine and try and their Totally TLC Hydrating Hair Mask. They usually sell this product in a tub of 200ml for £20.00 which in my eyes is expensive as the sample in the magazine is only 100ml and the magazine cost £2.

As you can see it says, "Need a rescue remedy? This deep, indulgent treatment helps restores your hair’s vitality, and makes it soft and more manageable. How? Well, we’ve enlisted marshmallow to lend a hand nourishing and strengthening stressed tresses, and coconut oil for deep conditioning and moisturising. Our heroes."Price & Appearance
Firstly, i wouldn't pay £20.00 for a hydrating hair mask from a brand i havent heard a great deal about. Secondly the appearance is appealing to the eye. Although lacking colour the product and the rest of its range is sophisticated and designed by an artist.The product itself
The actual hair mask is a white cream like most hair masks but not as thick as conditioners as you can see below. I smelt the product as soon as I opened the magazine packaging and i wasnt too impressed. The hair mask is like perfume and its very, very strong. I can only describe it as an eldery lady smell but thats my personal opinion. It comes out the tube easily enough and isnt sticky.

Application & Result
I expected, for the retail price of this product considering you get 200ml, the mask to cover a lot more of my hair. As you can see my hair is farely long but not very thick and i used over half the tube on just one application of my hair. This would mean i would probably get around 3-4 applications out of the retailed tub. I feel thats not value for money considering i would be paying £20 for it. I have used other branded hair masks for a lot cheaper, that have lasted me a lot longer. Despite that the hair mask was applied for a minimum of 10 minutes and then rinsed out with warm water. During these 10 minutes I wrapped my hair in a towel as it states on the tube but continued to be put off the smell which was still very strong!
I was surprised at the results, my hair felt softer but did still smell terribleOpinion Overall i would give it a 6/10. It would of been 7 if it smelt more appealing. I dont believe its good value for money as ive used way cheap hair masks that have would last longer but the packaging and results are nothing to complain about!
